Pauline Arendt, 93, Greencastle, formerly of Cloverdale, died Sunday at The Waters of Greencastle.
Born Sept. 30, 1910 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of James Roscoe and Mary Alice (Greenlee) Taber.
A housewife, she was a member of the Cloverdale Church of Christ, Hurst-Collins American Legion Post 281, and a former member of Cloverdale O.E.S. 369.
She married George Robert Arendt on Sept. 5, 1942. He died March 12, 1977.
Surviving are a daughter, Nancy McCullough, Green-castle; a brother, Donald Keith Taber; a stepdaughter, Lucille Goss, Martinsville, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Richard Taber, and sisters Carol Joann Strubbe and Marcella Knoll.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Rev. Todd A. Stepp officiating.
Burial will be in Cloverdale Cemetery.
