Mrs. E. G. Teske, 54, of 2233 La Follette Ave., Manitowoc, died Monday evening
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church Chapel,
the Rev. Vernon Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Teske, the former Gertrude Kluczinske, was born June 20, 1911, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late Leo and Clara Krahn Kluczinske. She was graduated in 1930
from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc.
She was married Nov. 21, 1936 to E. G. Teske and the couple resided at Manitowoc.
Mrs. Teske was employed at Schuette Bros. Co., Manitowoc, until she retired due
to illness.
Mrs. Teske, an active volunteer in Manitou Girl Scout Council, joined the Girl
Scout program in 1951 and currently was a delegate to the Manitowoc Community
Association of Manitou Girl Scout Council. She also served as a day camp committee
member, troop leader and was craft counselor at Camp Sinawa for several seasons.
She helped organize early craft fairs in the Manitou Council.
Survivors are the husband; a son, Robert, of Two Rivers; a daughter, Mrs. Elwood
(Cynda) Post, of Manitowoc; a brother, Ruhl Kluczinske, of Manitowoc; and two
sisters, Mrs. Elmer Walters and Mrs. Ralph Strauss, of Manitowoc and a grandson.
Memorials may be made in her memory to First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Urbanek
and Schlei Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
