ROSE F. TAYLOR

Rose F. Taylor, age 99, a former resident of Manitou Manor, Manitowoc, died
Friday afternoon, May 8, 1998 at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 1998 (TONIGHT) at the Reinbold
& Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Roy C. Myers, Rector & Sam Hall,
Deacon of St. James Episcopal Church will co-officate (sic). Burial will follow
at 10 a.m., Monday 11, 1998(sic), at Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Rose Reif was born May 18, 1898, in the Town of Kossuth, Manitowoc
County, daughter of the late Frank and Frances Hutterer Reif. She attended
schools in the Town of Kossuth. On April 22, 1922, Rose was married to Capt.
Leon E. Taylor at Manistee, Mich. The couple lived in Cleveland, Ohio, moving
to Manitowoc in 1938. Leon preceded her in death on September 20, 1966.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, William and Eleanor Taylor,
Manitowoc; two daughters and one son-in-law, Joyce and Charles Krizek, Manitowoc,
Norma Wagner, Kewaunee; eight grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, one brother
and two sisters-in-law, LeRoy and Mary Reif, Two Rivers, Mildred Reif, Milwaukee;
and two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mildred and Herb Kohlmeier, Manitowoc,
Myrtle Zunker, Manitowoc, Clarence Sutter, Sun Prairie, Wis. Nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by an infant son,
Jack, and infant daughter, Shirley; one son-in-law, Alvin Wagner; six brothers,
Frank, Ervin, Leo, Raymond, Richard, and Elmer; and three sisters, Agnes Huren,
Doris Sutter, Corinta Tilber.
Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home
on Sunday, May 10, 1998 from 3 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m.
