Betty W. Brunick, 92, of Minneapolis, Minn., and a former Arlington resident, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, in Minneapolis.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Monday at the Johnson-Henry Funeral Home in Arlington. A private family burial will take place following the funeral service in the Arlington City Cemetery.
Betty Syverson was born on July 7, 1923, to John and Gertie (Gunderson) Syverson. She attended school at Spring Lake Park and graduated from Hetland High School. She married Leonard Brunick on Sept. 10, 1947, in Sioux Falls. They returned to the Arlington area shortly after, where they were engaged in farming until their retirement. After her husband's death, she moved to St. Anthony, Minn.
Betty is survived by her son, Dennis of Floral City, Fla.; daughter Debra (Gregg) Owens of St. Anthony, Minn., a nd two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; sisters, Stella Mortensen and Ovida Engdahl and brother, John S. Syverson.
