RUSHVILLE — Christina D. Sweet, 42, a lifelong Rushville resident, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in Rushville.
She was born Oct. 27, 1970, in Rushville to Billy J. Lee and Barbara (Hatfield) McKinsey.
Christina was a 1989 graduate of RCHS. She worked in bookkeeping many years for Eckart Electric, Goin's Ford, Herdrich Petroleum and for the last eight years was the office manager for Rushville Chrysler/Jeep. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville.
Survivors include her parents, Billy J. Lee of Rushville and Barbara McKinsey of Rush County; her husband, Mark Sweet of Rushville; a son, Brody A. Sweet at home; a step son, Dillon C. Sweet of Rushville; and sisters, Tammi Commuso of Rushville and Shelly and husband Brad Basey of Shelbyville.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7 at First Southern Baptist Church, 1159 S. Airport Road, Rushville. Friends are welcome to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 6 at the church. Rev. Jeff Edwards will preside. Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Children's Home, 1032 N. Perkins St., Rushville, IN. 46173.
