Betty Lou Sweet White of LaFayette died Friday, June 1, 2007.
She was 74. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. White, in 1981; parents, Charles J. and Bertha M. Sweet; sister, Catherine Sweet Copeland. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and a former treasurer and church clerk. Survivors include sons, Bruce L. and Bobby and Michelle White; brothers, Thomas and Doyle Sweet; grandchildren, Amy, Mindy, Tracy, Katie and Emily White; special niece and caregiver, Barbara and Troy Smith; special nephew, Terry and Myra LeGrande; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services: Sunday, June 17, at 3 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Patter-son officiating.
Pallbearers: Jacob Copeland, Andy LeGrande, Dusty LeGrande,
Eric Forrest. Burial: LaFayette Cemetery.
