Lizzie (Swearengin) Maberry ObT.
Cookeville - Funeral Services for Lizzie Mayberry, 74, will be conducted Saturday, June 28, at 1 p.m. at Dodson's Branch Freewill Baptrist Church with the Rev. Claudie Richardson and the Rev. J. T. Davis Officiating. Burial will be in Dodson's Branch Cemetery.
Mrs. Mayberry died June 26 at Jackson County Hospital following an extended illness.
A native of Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Palo and Callie Burris Swearengin.
Surviors include her husband, Birdle D. Maberry; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Woolbright of Cookeville; four sons, James M. Maberry, Charles D. Maberry, Joe Mayberry and Hoyt Maberry, all of Cookeville; four sisters, Mrs. Leo Dailey, Mrs. Emma Smith, both of
Cookeville, Mrs. Lula Hawkins of Maryland and Mrs. Alva gentry of Huntington Beach,
California; one granddaughter and five grandsons.
Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
