_The funeral services of the late Mrs. P. A. Swanson were held from her home on East Henry street, on Thursday afternoon and were largely attended by her many friends and neighbors. The services were in charge by Rev. A. O. Elmquist, pastor of the Swedish Lutheran church at Swedesburg of which the deceased was a life time member. The music was furnished by a quartet from that church. Interment took place at Forest Home cemetery and the following neighbors were the pall bearers: Mr. Charles Schutz, Roy Kennedy, Fred Anderson, Charles Carlson, Andrew Larson and Will Thorne.
_Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schnurr and sons Egert and Clarence of Harrison, Neb., are in this city spending several weeks with the former's mother, Mrs. Rosinia Schnrron South Jackson street.
