Lucille Nester, 90, Olathe, KS, passed away May 8, 2007, at Pinnacle Ridge Nursing and Rehab in Olathe. A memorial service in her honor will be held Sunday May 20, 2007 from 2-4 PM at the Poplar Court Atrium, 519 E. Poplar, Olathe, KS, 66061. Lucille was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, and a longtime Nursery Director at the Raytown Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Myrtle (Coburn) Swallow, her husband Clarence, a granddaughter Vicki Wade, and 3 sisters. Lucille leaves behind two children; Virginia Maras and husband Jim of Kansas, and Ruby Allen and husband Charles of Texas. Three grandchildren; Angie Valdez and husband Ed, Mary Wilson and husband Jeff, and Crystal Dill and husband Charles. Nine Great Grandchildren; Crystine, Charles, D.J, Vincent, Carynn, Krista, Luke, Elizabeth, and Hope. Lucille also leaves behind a sister; Maxine Brown, also of Texas. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Pinnacle Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center, 400 S. Rogers Rd. Olathe, KS 66061 or The Poplar Court Residence Administration, where Lucille lived for 12 years.
