IMOGENE LEAH ARNOLD
Rockport, IN – Imogene Leah Arnold, 93, of Rockport, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor in Rockport, Indiana.
Imogene was born in Richland, Indiana on March 7, 1918 to the late Floyd "Buck" Swallow and Irma (Bantle) Swallow.
She owned and operated a grocery store and was very active in the Richland Lioness Club. Imogene was a member of the Garnett Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Arnold in 1972; Grandson, Ronald Lynn Gulley in 2010.
Imogene is survived by her children, Linda Gulley and her husband, Ron of Richland, IN; Renee Greene and her husband, Shirley of Rockport, IN; Robert Arnold and his wife, Susan of Rockport, IN; Grandchildren, Heidi McLimore, Rob Greene, Laura Harmon, J.W. Arnold, Leah Arnold; Great-grandchildren, Ashley Gulley, Layne Conner, Macy Conner.
Services are 11 A.M. Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana with Rev. Larry VanCamp officiating. Burial is in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Richland, Indiana.
Visitation is from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 and from 8 A.M. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spencer County Community Foundation.
