FUNERAL FOR MRS. KENNETH MASSEY HELD WEDNESDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Kenneth Massey were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Vernal First Ward Chapel with Bishop Pontha Calder presiding and counselor Warren Richardson conducting. There were many floweres in evidence.

The invocation was offered by E. J. Longhurst and the benediction by Bishop Calder.

A special quartet sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" with Mrs. Mable Stagg, accompanist F. J. Flennard and Mrs. May Calder sang, "Jesus Is Calling." Mr. Kennard sang "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose." A duet "Whispering Hope" was sung by Mrs. Meda Walker and Mrs. May Calder.

The speakers were Driver E. Smith and Archie Johnson with closing remarks by Mr. Richardson. All offered words of consolation to the bereaved relatives.

Pallbearers were Royce, Mowrey, Bert Swain, Garn Swain and Carl Swain.

Interment was made in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Swain Funeral Home, with Louis Van Massey dedicating the grave.

The unexpected death of Mrs. Massey, 20, of 152 Forth East North Street, early Monday morning, following an operation for appendicitis at 10:30 p.m. Sunday at a local hospital, was a distinct shock to relatives and the community. The young mother was a favorite with all who knew her.
