W C Sutzer

On March 30, 1923, the dark angel shadow of death came to the home circle of Mr. W. C. Sutzer of Oak Hill, and took from them their father and husband. He was sick for only a short while, though he had been in poor health for several years.

Mr. Sutzer was born and raised up to early manhood in Kentucky. He had a mind superior to many. He was educated to a college degree, except only a short review which he never finished. After he grew to early manhood, he was like most of the young men in the east, he wanted "to go west."

He was loyal and upright to his country. He served several years in United States jobs in the western and northwestern states. He was an expert book keeper and acccountant, which he made a part of his daily labor after he came to Searcy County.

Mr. Sutzer came to Searcy County about 16 years ago. He was a man who made many friends wherever he went. He was 65 years, 5 months, 19 days old. He leaves a wife and three children, Mrs. Virginia Heard, Theara and Clemmet Sutzer and a host of friends to mourn his departure.
