Daughter of the late Charlie Carl "D.B." and Marjorie Wilson Sutton, she was the widow of the late Rev. Emmett Bartlett. She was a member of Walnut Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She worked as food director with the Clinton City School System during her working career. She was survived by two daughters, Deborah Bartlett Holt (Lonnie) and Beth Bartlett Aman (Michael); son, Emmett Randall Bartlett (Melva); ssiters, Faye Sutton Hardy (Baxter), Becky Sutton and Alma Sutton Strickland (Bobby); seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; family friend, Glen Mewborn; and an extended family of relatives. Her funeral was held on July 24, 2012, with The Rev. Tony Mclamb officiating. Her graveside service was held on July 25, 2012.
