Faith La Rae (Sutherland) Beckley, age 60, of Lapeer, formerly of Hadley, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012.
Faith was born September 25, 1952, in Flint, Michigan to Ray and Lola (Haddrill) Sutherland. She graduated from Lapeer High School in 1970. Faith married David Beckley on December 30, 1972. Mrs. Beckley worked as a nurse for many years at different hospitals, Suncrest and Dr. Reddy's office. She enjoyed nature, history, family history and was a member of several historical societies.
Faith is survived by her devoted husband David Beckley of Lapeer; son: Benjamin of Lapeer; parents: Ray and Lola Sutherland of Hadley; brother: Philip (Karen) Sutherland of Clio; close friends: Larry and Wendy Bosely of Temperance, MI; and several special Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Visitation for Faith will be 4-8 PM Friday, November 16, 2012 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. Her funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Hadley Community Church, 3666 Hadley Road, Hadley, MI 48440. The service will be officiated by Rev. Wally Rose.
Burial will follow in Green Corners Cemetery in Hadley.
