She was born Aug. 9, 1938, in Qing Dao, China.
She married Pian Cai in China in 1965. He survives.
Aixian was a chemical engineer in China for 36 years before retiring.
Surviving along with her husband are two daughters, Wendi Hsu of West Lafayette and Jian Ping Cai (husband: Shou Min Song), of Toronto, Canada; a son, Wen Jie Cai of Qing Dao; and a brother, Xin Gong Sun of China.
Services are Monday in West Lafayette.
