Sun Im Han was born June 20, 1942 in South Korea to Han Kwi Moon and Lee Ok Sun. She met a United States soldier on January 1, 1968 wandering in a snowstorm. After a long conversation they decided to start dating and a short 18 months she was able to marry her love, Frederick.
They were married August 19, 1969 in Seoul, South Korea at the United States Embassy. Sun was a feisty but loving person, who enjoyed life. She made friends easily and they learned to love her.
Sun was able to bring many of her family across the ocean to be with her here in the United States, and now they live across the country. Sun was a true gift from God given to her husband Fred on January 1, 1968, and was cherished everyday since.
Sun is survived by her loving husband of 39 years; Brothers Han Dong Yul, and Han Dong Sik both reside in Los Angeles California; and many friends.
