Norma Lee (Haines) Hallmark went to be with the Lord on the 27th of May, 2011 at the age of 83.
She was born October 23, 1927 to Adam and Eva Sumner in Lebanon, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl Hallmark, daughter Eva Sue Haines, brothers Robert and Harold Sumner, sister Shirley Marcum, and infant granddaughter Amber Trost.
Survived by daughters Linda McCall and husband Marvin of Seguin, Nancy Frase and husband Steve of New Braunfels, sons Aubrey Haines and wife Donna of Houston, and Mark Haines and wife Brenda of Red Oak. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren Matthew McCall and wife Kim and children Jason, Cameron, and Paige; Chris Trost and children Alec and Avery; Michael McCall; Monty Trost and wife Amy and children Amber, Braeden and Landon; Everett Trost and wife Meredith and daughter Peyton; Lynee' Cross and husband Chad and children Cade, Carson, and Chase; and Grace Haines. She is also survived by brother James Sumner and wife Norma of Sedalia, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Norma was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, a business woman, a community volunteer, a gracious hostess, a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and friend.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 30th in the Chapel of Goetz Funeral Home from 5-9 pm, with family present until 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, May 31st at First Baptist Church of Seguin, with interment following at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
