MARY ANN QUIRK, 89, a resident of Clearview Nursing Home, 9946 Downsville Pike, Hagerstown, died Monday, May 2, 2005, at Washington County Hospital. Born March 5, 1916, in St. James, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Summers and Nola Elizabeth Moore Summers Brown.
Her husband, Charles William Quirk, died in 1970.
She was a Protestant.
She is survived by three nieces, Margaret McFadden of Ridgeway, W.Va., Helen Edwards of Hagerstown and Earlene Miley of Hancock; three nephews, Fred Knode, John Knode and Logan Knode, all of Hagerstown; great-nieces; and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Edna Rice, Catherine V. Parker and Helen L. Knode.
Graveside services were held at Rose Hill Cemetery.
