Barbara Jean Summers, 69, of 17312 Evergreen Drive, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Jan. 11, 1934, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Dorothy May Troup Sprecher.

She retired after 28 years as a school bus driver for the Washington County Board of Education.

She was a member of First Brethren Church.

She is survived by
her husband, Bill Summers;
two sons,
Scott Summers of Hagerstown and
Kevin Summers of Baltimore;
one brother, Timothy Sprecher of Hagerstown; and
two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by
two brothers,
Robert L. Sprecher Jr. and
Jackie Sprecher.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Brian H. Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
