Henry Grady Summerall Jr. of Celina, TX. was born on September 12, 1947 in Corsicana, TX and passed away peacefully at LifeCare Hospital of Plano on January 23, 2014 after a 2 year illness. Survived by loving wife Sharon, devoted son Matthew, dear sister Margaret Claus of Dallas, Aunt Sybil Bates of Corpus Christi, Uncle Chester Duke of Mildred, and many cousins and friends. He graduated from UT-Arlington and received an MBA in banking and finance from SMU in 1973. He was an avid Sooner football fan, having played football at OU from 1965-67. He began his banking career in 1977 as an auditor and served various regional banks in the North Texas area as President and CEO until his death. He was well respected and admired, not only by the banking community, but by federal and state regulators as well. He loved the banking business and was actively working until his death. He was a former President and Hall of Fame member of the Dallas Rugby Football Club. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dallas. Henry was a God fearing Christian who enriched the lives of all people he met. Services Wednesday, January 29th at 10 am at Corley Funeral Home in Corsicana. Visitation Tuesday, January 28th from 6-8 p.m. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of Dallas Rugby Football Club.
