WATERBURY — Louise R. Jacovino, 86, of Waterbury, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009. She was the wife of the late Alexander Jacovino.
Louise was born on Jan. 5, 1923, in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Francesco and Rose Mary (Ciambrone) Summa. She was a communicant of St. Lucy's Church and a homemaker whose life was dedicated to her two children.
Mrs. Jacovino leaves her son, Alex Jacovino of Waterbury, with whom she made her home, and her daughter, Linda Grickis and her husband, Jim, of Wethersfield. She was predeceased by four sisters, Angelina Diagostino, Mary Parente, Margaret Denzio and Ann M. Summa.
A private funeral was held on Thursday, March 5, at the Maiorano Funeral Home with a Mass that followed at St. Lucy's Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
