Allie was born in Fairview, TN to the late Albert Andrew Sullivan and Anna Walker Sullivan. She is also preceded in death by her son, Wendell Burke.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 12 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Pastor Ron Lowery officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Allie was a photographer and co-owner of Burke's Studio for 27 years with her husband, Sam. She was a Rosie the Riveter at Avco in Nashville, TN during WWII. She was a member of New Providence United Methodist Church.
Allie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Sam Burke of Clarksville, TN; son, David (Jone) Burke of Clarksville, TN; two grandchildren, Michael Burke of Troy, IL and Steven (Alicia) Burke of Rockford, IL; and three great grandchildren, Jacob Burke, Janae Burke, and Jarrett Burke.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fellowship United Methodist Church, 2201 Peachers Mill Road, Clarksville, TN 37042.
