Olean S. Biller, 92, Cresson, died Monday at Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg.
She was born in Colver, daughter of the late Daniel J. and Mary Malinda (Farabaugh) Sullivan. She married Fred G. Biller on July 16, 1949, in Colver.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters: Betsy Shultz (Bill) of Hollidaysburg and Mary Anne Randolph (Bob) of Raleigh, N.C.; six grandchildren: Dr. David F. Slat (Dr. Stacy King Slat) of Fairview Heights, Ill., Christopher and Sarah Slat, both of Hollidaysburg, Daniel Randolph of New York City and Gregory and Charlotte Randolph, both of Raleigh, N.C.; a great-grandson, Christopher Thomas Slat; and two siblings: Col. Joseph Sullivan of Chicago and Betsy Ertter of Scottsdale, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, David M. Slat; an infant grandson, Michael Mark Slat; five sisters: Claranna Porada, Bernice Keenan, Thelma Craver, Theola Wellen and Delrose Vogel; and a brother, Joseph Sullivan.
Olean retired in 1985 from the library department of St. Francis University, Loretto. She was a member of St. Aloysius Parish, Cresson, and an auxiliary member of its Legion of Mary. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at St. Aloysius Church by the Very Rev. Father John D. Byrnes. Committal will be in the church cemetery.
