Death of Evangeline Sullivan.
Evangeline, the youngest daughter of Senator and Mrs. Patrick Sullivan, died at the family home, South Center street and Hugo avenue, Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, at the age of twelve years, after an illness of almost a year from heart trouble. Her death was not unexpected, yet it came as a great shock to her many friends and relatives. In the early part of January of this year Mrs. Sullivan took her little daughter to California, thinking that a change of climate would be beneficial to the child's health. She improved rapidly and
in April they returned to Casper. Since that time her health had steadily declined and for the past few weeks she had been confined to her bed. Bright, happy and cheerful Evangeline carried sunshine with her wherever she went. To know her was to love her. She hail always a smile and a pleasant word for her friends.
Her funeral, which was largely attended, was conducted by Rev. Father Bryant from the Catholic church Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock and interment was made in Highland cemetery. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. Quite a number of out-of-town friends of the family were in attendance at the funeral.
The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan in Casper and throughout the state extend their heartfelt sympathy in this hour of great sorrow.
