Born August 22, 1931, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Arthur H. and Emma Viola (Milker) Sullivan, II. He was teh husband of the late Dorothy (Whittington) Sullivan, who died in 2008.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country during the Korean War. He graduated from Westminster High School and then attended Washington College in Chestertown, MD, graduating in 1948 with an accounting degree.
He worked for many years as a food broker in Baltimore and later owned and operated Sullivan Properties in Sandymount. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching football, baseball, and basketball. He played on the first varsity football team at Westminster High School.
He also enjoyed watching game shows, especially Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. He was a former member and treasurer of the Roaring Run Lions Club. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and having his dog Nanette by his side.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Braden W. and Karen Sullivan, of Westminster; daughter and son-in-law Susan S. and Paul Noyes, of Westminster; grandchildren Carianne A. and Tara M. Sullivan, Travis G. and Avery N. Noyes.
Private graveside services and inurnment will be held in the Sandymount United Methodist Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
