Daniel Alan Sulger, 55, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Feb. 10, 2013. He was born in Sierra Vista on Sept. 22, 1957, to Paul and Ethel Sulger.
He is preceded in death by his father Paul Sulger.
He is survived by his mother, Ethel Sulger; his wife, Deyone Marquitta Sulger; four children, Steven (Nicole) Sulger, Christopher (Julia) Sulger, Daniel (Korene) Sulger and Elizabeth (Levi) Sulger. He had nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Timothy (Cathy) Sulger; and his sisters, Sheila (Alan) Reeve, Valerie (Russell) Betts and Jennifer Sulger.
Daniel was a paramedic/firefighter, worked in construction and was a heavy equipment operator. His passion and accomplishment was martial arts, where he earned his fifth degree black belt. He was compassionate, generous and had a good sense of humor. He will always be missed.
A service will be held on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1000 Taylor Drive, in Sierra Vista. Viewing will be at 9 a.m., and the funeral service follows at 10 a.m.
