Goldie Marie Campbell, 99, of West Alexandria, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Ind. Born April 23, 1905, in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of William and Lora (Russell) Suggs. She worked for many years as a cafeteria worker at Lanier School. Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Ingomar Mothers' Club, St. John's Lutheran Church in Ingomar, W.E.L.C.A. of St. John's, West Alexandria Senior Citizens and the Lanier Homemakers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur; two sons, Dale Campbell and Donald Campbell; three brothers, George Suggs, Everett Suggs and Walter Suggs; two sisters, Mabel Campbell and Kathryn Izor; and a son-in-law,
Harold Ward.

Survivors include three daughters, Wilma Jean Ward of Versailles, Sue (Chuck) Flora of Eaton and Mary Lou (George) Lehmann of Corbin, Ky.; a son, Richard (Jean) Campbell of West Alexandria; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Wanda Campbell of Eaton; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 11, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Ingomar, with the Rev. Terri Peterson officiating. Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, was in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
