Irene SudweeksFrederiksen "Together Again" SALT LAKE CITY - Irene Sudweeks Frederiksen, age 92, died Friday, January 3, 2003 in the Salt Lake home following a lingering illness.
Irene was born Aug 17, 1910 in Junction, UT. She is together again with her husband, Henri, who died March 7, 1991. They were married on her birthday, Aug 17, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Irene was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is known by her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. They are very important to her. She was always trying to be of service to her family, church and friends.
Irene graduated in Nursing and she loved gardening and sewing. Irene and Henri had two children, Richard H. Frederiksen (Vicki L. Seeley) and Susan Frederiksen Munson (Darrell J. Munson); seven grandchildren, Daniel R. Frederiksen, Kelly B. Frederiksen, Shane J Frederiksen, Tiffany Frederiksen Quintana, Matthew D. Frederiksen, Andrea Petersen Riche, Adam Petersen; 14 great-grandchildren. Irene is the daughter of William and Barbara Sudweeks, who preceded her in death. Irene's brothers and sisters are: William C. Sudweeks (deceased), Alton Sudweeks, (deceased) Zelma Sudweeks Anderson (deceased), Rawldo W Sudweeks and Myrtle Sudweeks Greenhalgh, Dora and Nora Sidweeks (deceased twins). The last 5 years of Irene's life have been a difficult battle for her. The family is grateful for the tender loving care Irene was given by the workers of the Salt Lake Home, the missionaries from Temple Square, and many friends.
Services will be Tues. Jan 7, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Orchard Stake Center, 3525 South Orchard Drive. Friends may call Mon. 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Tues. 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. You are also invited to attend the interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
