Born Sept. 25, 1938 she was the daughter of the late John Robert and Dorothy Elizabeth Stultz.
Rose was a faithful member of the St. Francis Xavier church. She retired from the Provincial House in Emmitsburg and enjoyed many years of crafting and cooking with her very good friends in her neighborhood.
Survived by sons, Michael J. Arentz of South Carolina, Patrick L Arentz Sr. and wife Cindy of Fairfield, David A. Arentz Sr. and wife Audrey of West Virginia, Timothy E. Arentz and wife Shirley of Fairfield, Joseph L. Arentz Jr. of Fairfield, Samuel L. Arentz of Gettysburg, John G. Arentz of Gettysburg; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Donald E. Stultz and wife Ellen of Fairfield; sisters, Annette E. Phillips and husband Munroe of Littlestown, Evelyn G. Matthews of Mississippi; twin sister Ruth A. Price of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews and cherished friend, Esther Sprenkle.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 p.m. onThursday, March 12, 2015, at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 22 West High St, Gettysburg, with Father Daniel Richards officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
