English Royalty. The 6th Duke of Lennox and 3rd Duke of Richmond, he was a greedy and ambitious aristocrat who ended as Ambassador to Denmark. Earlier he had married Frances Theresa known as 'La Belle Stuart' and mistress to King Charles II. Although the king was initially furious, it seems that their relationship was eventually resumed.
