HACKETT Rachel Bivins, 69, of Hackett
died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003, in her home.
She was born to William Andrew Struble
and Augusta "Gustie" Barnes.
She was a homemaker and retired
from Thema Tru in Van Buren, AR.

She is survived by one daughter
Denna Berry of Fort Smith;
four sons, Mike Bivins of Greenwood,
Allen Bivins of Hackett, David and
Lee Bivins, both of Fort Smith;
two brothers, Raymond Struble of Ada,
Okla., and David D Struble of Fresno,
Calif.; one adopted daughter, Krisa
Durham of Fort Smith, AR.;
12 grandchildren and seven

Graveside Service and Interment
will be Wednesday, 2:00 P.M.
January 8 2003 at Barling City
Cemetery Barling, AR by:
McConnell Funeral Home of
Greenwood, AR.

Pallbearers will be Brian, Chase and
Michael Bivins, Brandon and
Raymond Harp and Alvin Rofkahr.

Rachel Lee Struble Bivins, was born
Dec. 4, 1933. Her brothers were,
Leon, David, Bill and her twin Ray.
Her mother died of cancer when she was
4 yrs. old. Her Aunt Pearl, her mother's
sister raised her.

Rachel married Eddie Eugene "Gene"
Bivins Aug. 12, 1952.
They had five children;
Michael, Richard "Allen",
William, "David",
Lee and Denna Bivins.
Adopted daughter, Krisa Durham.

Rachel lived her married life in the
Massard/Hackett area. Rachel was a
homemaker and worked part time for
the American Milk Producers Incorp.
Rachel was working for Therma-Tru
(Sigma) until she retired.

A great daughter, sister, wife,
mother, aunt, and grandmother
and great-grandmother. She was known
as Granny to so many. She always had
a smile on her face and loved all
whom was around her.
What a sweet, sweet women with such
a soft heart..... She will greatly
be missed.

Love you Rachel. A women who taught
me so many things.

Augusta "Gustie" Barnes Struble.
