MRS. ALICE CLEMMER
BESSEMER CITY, March 16-
Mrs. Alice Stroupe Clemmer, widow of Stanhope Clemmer, died this morning at 9 o'clock at her home on Route Two. Death followed a brief illness.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Joseph Ratchford of Dallas, Sloan and Ernest Clemmer of Gastonia, and two step-sons, Will Clemmer of Gastonia and Charlie of Atlanta; and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Elmina Hager, Mrs. L.H. Barbee, Mrs. S.W. Dellinger, and John and Andrew Stroupe all of Gastonia.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Antioch Lutheran church in Dallas, with the pastor, Rev. Mr. Speagle, in charge. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
