Orangeburg - Mrs. Minnie Elizabeth Stroman Felder, 87, of 860 Five Chop Road, Orangeburg, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2003, at The Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at East Bethel Methodist Church, Lone Star, with the Rev. Lindsey Rivers and the Rev. Judy C. Hames officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Mount, Donnie Mount, Tommy Smith, Troy Zeigler, Johnny Stroman and Jimmy Smith. The casket will be in the church at 2 p.m. Mrs. Felder was born Feb. 6, 1916, in Elloree, a daughter of the late John Daniel Stroman and Mattie Elizabeth Wiles Stroman. She was a member of East Bethel Methodist Church in Lone Star. She was a widow of Charlie Manning Felder. Survivors include a daughter, Nettie Frances Stallo of Vancouver, Wash.; four sons, Charlie 'Charles' Howard Felder of Jacksonville, Fla., Homer T. Felder and Wayne Felder, both of Orangeburg and Richard A. Felder of Columbia; one sister, Ruby Ruth Zeigler of Santee; one brother, John Lewis 'JL' Stroman of West Columbia; and three grandchildren, Wanda Michelle Johnson and Rodney Charles Felder, both of Jacksonville, Fla. and David Wayne Felder of Aiken. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home of Orangeburg. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Felder, 2693 Riverbank Drive, Orangeburg and at the funeral home.
