Theodore W. Strayline served as a Corporal in Company C of the 72nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment in the American Civil War.
He was killed on July 3, 1863, the third day of the Battle of Gettysburg.
He was initially buried in Peter Frey's field.
He had enlisted at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Corporal Strayline's body was later disinterred for reburial. He is now interred at Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
