Event: 01 Oct 1783, Robert Clark Jacob of Lancaster Country wrote a letter to Henry Tazewell, asking his opinion on where to try a suit he wants to bring.
Military: Because of the large amounts of land he owned in Kentucky (20,000 acres) and Ohio (2300 acres), referred to in his will, he probably performed active service during the Revolutionary War, but no Eastern Shore or Northern Neck records disclose what it was.
