Funeral services were conducted yesterday in Chico for Henry Wheaton Stratton, who died suddenly Monday morning while being brought to Quincy by ambulance from his home in Meadow Valley. He was a native of Whitehall, Wis., and was 64 years of age at the time of his death.
He was a retired rancher, hasving lived most of his life in meadow Valley. His wife preceded him in death by 19 months and his only brother, ? Stratton died two months ago. Two sisters died many years ago.
He is survived by one son, Henry W. jr., of Meadow Valley; two daughters, Mrs. Art Kurtwitz of Fort Bragg and Mrs. Hugh Michaelson of Sacramento; five grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ima Stratton of Meadow Valley; and also five nephews.
