The First English Lutheran church of Grand Rapids was the scene of a pretty wedding on Sunday afternoon when Henrietta Harriet Stram, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Stram of Grand Rapids became the bride of Donald Frame, son of George Frame of Deer River. A profusion of lilacs, tulips and other spring flowers were used to bank the altar before which the service was read at two o'clock by the reverend F.L. von Husen, pastor of the church.
The bride wore an afternoon dress of soft blue crepe with a matching hat and harmonizing accessories and a corsage of gardenias and lilies of the valley. She had as her only attendant her sister, Miss Jeanette Stram who was attired in a gown of salmon pink with a matching hat. Her corsage was of roses and snapdragons. George Parmeter of Deer River attended the groom.
The young couple left the same evening on a wedding trip to International Falls and after their return will make their home in Deer River where the groom is employed.
Mrs. Frame is a graduate of the local high school and after completing a beauty culture course in Minneapolis has operated a shop in Grand Rapids.
