Rebekah Hite, 68, Dies At Pendleton
Pendleton, Feb. 5.---Mrs. Rebekah Hite, age 68, wife of N.A. Hite, residing on south Pendleton avenue, died yesterday afternoon at St. John's Hospital, Anderson. The body was brought to the Sloane and Bright funeral home and will be taken to the family home this evening. The body will be returned to the funeral home Friday for services to be held at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. Edward Norris, of Richmond. Burial will be in Grovelawn cemetery.

Surviving are the husband, a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Alvey [Albea], Eden; a sister, Mrs. Stella Davis, Anderson; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was born near here the daughter of the late John and Laura [Lana] Stottlemyer and spent her entire life in Madison county. Early in life she was baptized in the Church of the Brethren at Beech Grove Church near Fortville.
