Billie Jean Boultinghouse ~ April 21, 1930 - February 17, 2013

Mom passed away Sunday February 17th, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Boultinghouse; son Eric "Ricky" Storie; and daughter Carla James. She is survived by her daughter Sandi Stutler; son Lary Storie; step children Raymond and Cathy; and by her most cherished grandchildren, Jerry Stutler, Sara Storie, and Devin Howell. She was born in Weeletka, OK on April 21st 1930, and at the age of five, during the Great Depression, moved to Lamont and spoke lovingly of her parents and happy childhood. She retired from Montgomery Ward where she called her co-workers and patrons "family". Mom, your greatest gift was to find love in all people; unlocking it with the key of an encompassing hug. That was your secret; knowing that the even the quietest hug, even if softly wordless, spoke in volume of comfort, acceptance, and solace. A service of celebration, food and fellowship, will be held for you on Saturday April 6th, 2013 at 12pm at 11711 Childress St. Bakersfield, Ca 93312: tel. 661-589-1277 or 661-836-8447. Mom, we will gather and celebrate your gift, embracing one another and hearing your now softly wordless love through our hugs, your hug, we will extend your gift, and extend and extend.... www.bakersfield.com/obits
