Albert Stone Dies
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 20, at the Ringo chapel in Woodburn, for Albert Stone, 78, who died Thursday, Nov. 16, at the home of a daughter in Millwaukie. Interment followed in Belle Passi cemetery beside his wife, Jessie May, who died in 1943.
Mr. Stone, born in Princeton, Ky., November 28, 1871, came to Woodburn 46 years ago. He made his home in the Union district until about two years ago when he went to Milwaukie to live with his daughter. He was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian church.
Survivors include two sons, Herman A. in Florida, and John E. of Boring; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Skiller of Milwaukie, and Mrs. Lillian Dawson of Whittier, Cal.; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Hundley in California, and Mrs. Nannie Hanley in Missouri; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
