Ursula Birtha Stone, 72, Passed Away, Thursday, June 28, 2001, at her Langell Valley, OR residence. She is survived by her husband, John O. Stone, Langell Valley, OR; Daughter: Shirley Stone, Granddaughter: Jennifer Clark, both of Nashville, TN, plus numerous other relatives both on the Stone and Lee side of the family.
Family Graveside Services were held Saturday, June 30, 2001, at 10 a.m. at the Bonanza Memorial Park Cemetery with Bill Davenport officiating. Memorials in Ursula's Memory may be sent to the Charity of the Donor's Choice! Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd directors.
Ursula Birtha Lee Stone, 72, died at her Langell Valley home June 28, 2001, after a long illness. She had lived in Langell Valley for 35 years.
At her request, there will be no services. Davenport's Chapel of the Good Sheph-erd handled arrangements.
She was born Nov. 28, 1928, in California. Mrs. Stone loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gold panning and rock hounding. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and grew irises for 40 years. She belonged to the Iris Society for 25 years and was a member of the Rock and Arrowhead Club for 10 years.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John Stone of Bonanza; daughter Shirley Clark of Tennessee; granddaughter Jennifer Clark of Tennessee; brother Dennis Lee of California; sisters Elda Carrick and Irene Bowman both of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Benjamin Lee, Hugh Lee and Richard Lee; and sisters Jessie Kester, Josie Olson, and Mary Cox.
