Two children by Brown: Mary Ann and Myron Robert
Her second husband, Joseph owned a cooperage in Toledo, but decided he wished to go west. He sold his business and they headed out. They went as far as St. Joseph, Missouri, where they spent the winter. Then in a wagon train of 41 wagons they left St. Joseph on 12 March 1852. They had two wagons in the beginning pulled by oxen. One wagon had to be abandoned on the Snake River. Upon reaching The Dalles, Oregon they had the choice of attempting to go around Mt. Hood or going via the Columbia River, and chose the second option going on flat boats down. It was on 12 September 1852 that they finally made their arrival in Portland. Tragedy struck 3 days later when Joseph died, leaving Ann with two small children.
She married #3, Asa Stone, 24 May 1853, # 28557381. They had 4 sons, William M, Charles G, Edward A and Frank W Stone.
The Lucas County, Ohio Marriage Index indicates she was married to David McCaughey on 14 November 1841 in Toledo, Ohio. According to some sources, he was born 28 Dec 1812 and died on 6 Dec 1843.
