TANEY COUNTY REPUBLICAN--SEPTEMBER 16, 1909 Zebediah Stockstill died at his home near "Walnut Shade", Friday September 10, 1909 at the age of 88 years. He was an old settler, having come to Taney County before the war. He was honored and respected by everyone who knew him. He leaves a wife and six children. all of whom are grown. He is buried at Walnut Shade, Saturday afternoon. Dr. F.V. Baldwin preaching the funeral sermon. A large concourse showed the high esteem in which he was held by his neighbors
