Jesse Wayne Stinson, 41, died at 2:10 AM Tuesday [April 9, 1974] in St. Elizabeth Hospital, apparently of a heart attack. Born in Allen County, KY, he was reared there and came to Lafayette 15 years ago. In 1963, he married Sandra K. Burdin, who is employed at Essex Wire Co.

Mr. Stinson was the lab supervisor at Peerless Wire Goods Co. for the past 15 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving overseas in the Army, and he was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 347.

Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Robin, at home; three children by a former marriage, Cheryl Stinson, Debbie Stinson, both of Beaumont, TX, and Gary Stinson of Lafayette; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Stinson of Scottsdale, KY; and two brothers, Everett Stinson of Maine and Gerald Stinson of Indianapolis.
