Mr. Stinson was the lab supervisor at Peerless Wire Goods Co. for the past 15 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving overseas in the Army, and he was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 347.
Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Robin, at home; three children by a former marriage, Cheryl Stinson, Debbie Stinson, both of Beaumont, TX, and Gary Stinson of Lafayette; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Stinson of Scottsdale, KY; and two brothers, Everett Stinson of Maine and Gerald Stinson of Indianapolis.
