Jean Stinnett Banton
Jean Stinnett Banton, 77 of Forest went home to be with the Lord Thursday May 10, 2012.
Jean was born November 15, 1934 in Lynchburg a daughter of the late Louis Edward Stinnett and Mary Tyree Stinnett of Madison Heights.
Jean graduated from E.C. Glass High School and then worked at Lowe's for 19 years. She also enjoyed working with children at Dr. Cox and Dr. Hopkins, Vaden, & Hancock pediatric offices and was a member of Rivermont Avenue Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her daughter Kimberly B. Crammer of Penn., aunt Irene Tyree of Madison Heights, a cousin Margaret Tyree of Forest, two sisters-in-law Linda & Peggy Stinnett, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Jean will be held at a later date.
