Jane Still Alexander, age 88, of Montwell-Cedarview area, passed away October 11, 2014 at the Serenity Springs Assisted Living in Loa, UT. Jane was born April 29, 1926 in Tomahawk, (Searsy County) Arkansas to James Garfield and Lucy Adeline Keeling Still. She met and married Carmon Columbus Jackson in 1942, they later divorced. She married Milton D “Mick” Alexander on June 26, 1964. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 13, 1979. He died June 2, 2000. Jane was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in various callings through the years. She owned and operated Jane's Cosmetology and Barbing Shop for 37 years. She acquired a real estate license and sold for Western Land. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and especially working where she got to visit with everyone. She liked to visit those who didn't get out much and was know to take various meals and treats. Her family was the most important thing in her life, and she loved to go visit and spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Gae Alexander, Milton K. (Renee) Alexander, Karen Lea (Dan) Ross, Brenda Kaye Jackson, Faye (Brent) Rappleye, Thomas Lynn (Connie) Alexander, Cheryla Dawn (Randy) Hortin, 24 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life Milton “Mick” Alexander, brothers and sisters, Homer, Ben, John, Garfield, Ida, Marie, and a great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Neola LDS Chapel. A viewing will be held that day from 11:00 - 12:45. Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
