Albert William Stidham died Sunday evening at his home at 1004 South Ave. A. He was 59 years old and was an electrician. He had lived in Portales since 1943.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Daisy Babe Fields Stidham; his mother, Mrs. Mary Stidham; sons
and daughters, Ervin Stidham, Roswell, Clovis, A.W. Stidham, Jr., of the home; Mrs. Viola Howard, Alameda, N.M., Mrs. Floyd Cooper, Enid, Okla., Mrs. Ellen Elmer, Tulsa, Okla., and brothers, Dell, of Syril, Oklahoma, Alfred and Leonard of Anadarko, Okla., Amos of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Dee of Hiwasse, Ark., There are also 13 grandchildren.
Mr. Stidham was a member of the Baptist Church, and the funeral will be at the West Side Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon at 3:30, with burial in the Floyd cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Kennedy and the Rev. Weldon Frazor will be in charge of services.
Mr. Stidham was married in Anadarko in 1924. He was born July 8, 1904, in Erick, Okla.
