Arthur Lindsey Stickle, 84, of Washington, died at 5:15 a.m. Monday, April 29, 1996, in Washington Hospital, following a six month illness.
He was born February 13, 1912, in Time, a son of Wylie and Belle Stollar Stickle.
Mr. Stickle was a self-employed truck driver. He was one of the founding members of North Franklin Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of the Florida Red Neck Goat Roper Association.
On March 12, 1936, in Wellsburg, West Virginia, he was united in marriage to Emma Favorite, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, W. Thomas Stickle and Richard Stickle, both of Wimauma, Florida and Harry Stickle of Ruskin, Florida; five daughters Mrs. Herbert (Nancy) Garner, Mrs. Carl (Janet) Pinkerton, Mrs. John (Sue) Pomykala and Mrs. Stephen(Linda) Setto, all of Washington, and Mrs. Richard (Kathy) Setto of Houston; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers David Ross Stickle and George Stickle, and four sisters Maggie Stickle, Ethel Burnfield, Helen Stickle, and Mary Waltz.
