Elayne Stewart Belrose "E.B.," age 82, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at the Jordan Valley Hospital of causes incident to age. She was born January 29, 1922 in Nephi to Preston Ray and Rebecca Millie Brady Stewart. She married John Orepich. She was a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by her three daughters Cheryl Christensen (Chris); Jeannie Orepich; and Kim Gillespie (Daniel); five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and wonderful friends. Lynn and Nannette were always there in her time of need. Preceded in death by her sister Mildred Call (A) and brother Loris Stewart (Aurelia). She loved to read, play nickel slots, and maintain a spotless home and yard. She loved to compete and played a mean game of Yahtzee. Most of all she loved the time she could spend with her loved ones and the excitement they brought to her life. She was very proud of her children and family, and she put them first above all else. They were her greatest joy. E. B. we will miss your famous potato salad, your contagious laugh, and all the love and support you gave to your family unconditionally. You taught us when to say please and thank you and taught us our family history. You were there for us when we needed a shoulder to cry on and you gave us strength at the times when we didn't feel we had the power to go on. You gave us hope, because no matter what happened you were there when we needed you. You were the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend any person could be blessed with. Graveside services held Saturday, September 4, 2004 at the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, 4800 North 650 East, Provo. Friends and family may meet at the cemetery. Services under the direction of Berg Mortuary of Provo.
