SAVANNAH - Mrs. Cloran Hodges Stewart, age 68, died December 14th at Memorial Health. The Bulloch County native lived in Savannah most of her life. Mrs. Stewart was a retired waitress and was currently employed with Wesley Monumental Methodist Church in Savannah as a caretaker in the nursery.

Surviving are four sons, Willie (Edith) Hodges of Oxford, Henry Hodges, Timothy Hodges and Kenneth (Carolyn) Hodges, all of Savannah; seven sisters, Claudie Turner of Amityville, N.Y., Edna Lundy, Ruby Mikell, Helen Oxendine and Juanita Grant, all of Statesboro, Daisy Williams of Portal and Marie Williams of Savannah; two brothers, Frankie Grant of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Beamon Rich of Moorehaven, Fla.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Piney Grove Baptist Church in Denmark. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge arrangements.
